Magnetic Drive Pumps are a leak-free centrifugal pump, appropriate for corrosive or hazardous chemical liquids, including dirty, aggressive, or solid-laden liquids.
Features include, but are not limited to:
- Pumps come close-coupled to standard 10 W, 230 V motor

Are these pumps leak free?
Yes, these pumps don't have a mechincal seal or gland packing meaning that they will not leak.
How are these pumps driven if they don't have a mechanical seal?
The motor is coupled to a drive magnet which drives the magnet on the impeller. In between the impeller and drive magnet, there is a rear casing which stops the fluid getting out.
